This is the 18th edition. It is a nationally competitive, professionally timed and marshalled event, delivered almost entirely by SANParks Honorary Rangers volunteers. Profits are reinvested directly into conservation projects in Marakele National Park, which makes your entry an act of conservation as much as a run. Choose your distance: the 42.2km marathon, the 21.1km half marathon, the 10km, or the 5km fun run for the whole family. Entries run in limited phases, and they sell out. Enter early to lock in the best price and secure your place.
